Brooke Vincent

Cierra Cierra Brooke BrookeBrooke Vincent was born on June 1992 in Manchester. At the age of 7, she decided she'd like to become an actress after getting bored of dancing and swimming classes, so she signed to Laine Management. Her first TV appearance was in 2002 when she was a guest as Casey Glass in the League of Gentleman. When Emma Woodward, the previous actor in Coronation Street decided to leave the show, Brooke was asked to audition to play Sophie Webster. Brooke was cast in the role and made her first appearance on May 12 in April 12, 2004. Brooke was a student at Fairfield High School for Girls as well as later going on to pursue a degree in drama at a college in Manchester. As well as her role in Coronation Street, Brooke got work as a weekend worker at the local hair salon. Brooke said on This Morning in 2009 that even though she loved her Saturday job, she couldn't answer the phone because she had a "common accent".
