Amy Smart is a former American actress and model. Amy Smart was born and raised in California, USA. She began modelling in Italy. The beginning of her acting career came in 1996, when she was a character in the TV film Her Costly Affair. Then, in a minor role in the film Starship Troopers she struggled very difficult. Amy struggled to make the leap from modeling into acting because model actors aren't generally considered an actor of high quality. Models are often only given minor or unimportant roles. But somehow Amy did not give up and began to take on more prestigious roles. It all started with the show The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. Amy later stepped into lead roles in 2005's romance film Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy finally got the recognition she'd been seeking since the age of 10. Amy continued to make major films, such as Crank with Jason Statham or Shameless in which she was loved as a recurring role.
